Bhopal: The state government has issued directives to all District Education Officers regarding implementation of Super-100 programme during academic session 2016-17. Directives have been given to invite 6 students (2 each in maths, biology and commerce) selected on the basis of results of class X exam in every district and get them admitted in Government Malhar Ashram Higher Secondary School, Indore. Administration will ensure students boarding, food, teaching and training arrangements. Apart from class XI and XII, these students will also be imparted special coaching for 2 years for engineering, medical and chartered accountant. Only those students will be included in the scheme who have passed regular class X exam of Board of Secondary Education in government schools.
If any student in the merit list declines admission in Government Malhar Ashram Higher Secondary School, Indore, written consent of their parents should be obtained and entered in records. In such case, students with lesser marks should be given opportunity. Directives have also been given to constitute a committee to ensure transparency in selection of students at district level.
On the basis of district-wise merit list of class X for private schools by Board of Secondary Education or list of toppers of government schools, students will be invited and consent in prescribed form will be obtained from them. They should be asked whether they wish to study in Malhar Ashram Higher Secondary School, Indore. If student having grossed highest mark declines to join, students with lesser marks should be given opportunity after obtaining written consent. Directives have also been given to prepare waiting list of 9 students to give chance to such student if a student does not go to Indore due to inevitable circumstances. Directives have been given to include 3 students each of every faculty.
The government has directed to chalk out students selection and waiting lists by June 10. The lists will be sent to principals of both the schools by June 20. Selected students will have to produce counter signed TC from DEO, original mark sheet of class X, caste/domicile/income/character certificates, number of Aadhar Card/Samagra ID, livelihood certificate in case of BPL. Selected students will ensure turning up for admission and training in class XI on July 1.
