Bhopal: A major presentation on Simhastha -2016 will be given by the notedphoto journalist and blogger Thorge Berger at German Museum on February 19, 2017. Berger use to travel different countries constantly and covers important gala events. He has brought before the world the unforgettable memories of different Kumbhs of India through his photo coverage. At this time during the Simhastha Kumbh Mela held at Ujjain, he captured rare images and moments of last Shahi Snan. Berger has also posted a special article focusing distinguished features of Simhasta on the well known camera blog

It may be mentioned that many representatives of the important media organizations, photo journalists and videographer had visited Ujjain during the Simhastha-2016 including Berger from Germany. All the necessary and better arrangements were made by the Public Relations Department for media representatives for coverage of important activities of Simhastha besides Shahi Snan. Berger has highly lauded the support lent to them during the Simhasta -2016 by the Public Relations department.

It is to be highlighted that during the coverage of last Shahi Snan, entry card was lost by Berger in Ramghat area around 2.30 a.m. He brought the matter in the knowledge of the Additional Director, Divisional Public Relations Office Ujjain fearing he might lose the chance to cover Shahi Snan of sages of Shaiv community. Immediate response by the additional director Devendra Joshi helped him getting back his entry card. Berger expressed his gratitude towards the efforts of the public relations department and police administration to help him retrieving his card. Moreover, Berger has again expressed his gratitude through email for the unforgettable support of the department. He has also sent his article focusing Simhastha -2016 to the department.

It is informed by Berger that a big presentation focusing Simhastha -2016 has been arranged at German Museum on February19, 2017. Special information, important photographs and videos are being compiled by him for the presentation.
