Bhopal: Investors met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Monday. They included Messrs Inox Wind’s MD VK Jain, Director Bhupesh Juneja, Messrs Avgol India Private Limited Israel’s Director Tami Hirszhon, Corporate Financial’s Controller Sivan Yedision, Messrs Vacmet India Limited’s CGM DC Agrawal, Vice President Pradeep Agrawal. Chief Secretary Anthony DeSa was also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister held one-to-one discussions with investors. He sought information from investors about status of their project’s implementation and their aspirations. He said that the assurances given to investors regarding facilities and relaxations will be implemented word by word.

On being urged for facilities by investors, the Chief Minister asked them to present proposals regarding it. Government’s apex committee will consider the proposals. The investors willing to make presentation before the committee, will be given its opportunity.

It was informed that Messrs Inox Wind Limited has set up wind turbine manufacturing units with permanent capital investment of about Rs 150 crore at Relwa Khurd industrial area in Barwani district. The project has given employment to about 1500 persons. After Israel, America, China and Russia, Messrs Avgol India is setting up its unit in India. The company has proposed to set up a vendor unit at Mandideep industrial area in Raisen district with an investment of Rs 223 crore in 2 phases. The company would produce non-fabric there. Messrs Vacmet India Limited is setting up plastic-coated film manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 1500 crore. It would give employment to 10,000 persons.

Principal Secretaries to CM Iqbal Singh Bains and SK Mishra, Principal Secretary Commercial Taxes Manoj Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Commerce and Industries Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary Energy ICP Kesari and Principal Secretary New and Renewable Energy Manu Shrivastava were also present on the occasion.
