Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has distributed first MP Tourism Awards established in the state here today. Awards were presented to 39 winners in 22 categories besides Excellence certificates. Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Surendra Patwa and Chairman State Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Bhoumik were especially present in the programme. In the glorified award distribution programme organized by the State Tourism development Corporation, Awards were conferred to Caper Travel Company Bhopal for Excellent Tour Operator (National) Award, Travel Bureau Khajuraho for Excellent Tour Operator, MP Holiday Pachmarhi and Wild Expeditions Tour and Travels Jabalpur for Excellent Travel Agent, Travel Bureau Khajuraho and Khajuraho Vacation Tour Khajuraho for Excellent Tourist Transport operator and Satpura Adventure club Pachmarhi for Excellent Adventure Tour Operator.
Similarly, awards were conferred to Independent President Hotel Indore and Chain Hotels Radisson Blue Indore for Excellent Hotel, Golf View Pachmarhi for Excellent Heritage Hotel, Denwa back Water Escape and RaniPani Jungle Lodge Madhai for Excellent Eco-Friendly, Courtyard House Patpara Kanha National Park for Excellent Home Stay, Akash Chattopadhyaya Jehanuma Palace for Excellent Chef, Asif Rasheed Filfora Restaurant Bhopal for Excellent Woman Chef, Brilliant Convention Center Indore for Excellent Convetion Center and Corbett Foundation Tribal Museum Kanha Tiger Reserve and Art Ichal Maihar for Excellent Responsible Tourism Project.

Furthermore, awards were conferred to Sanchi Stoop for Excellent Tourism Friendly Monument, National Park Bandavgarh Tiger Reserve and Sanctuary and Orchcha Wild Life Sanctuary for Excellent Tourism Friendly National Park.
