Ujjain: On Friday midnight, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan undertook surprise inspection of Simhastha arrangements at Ramghat at Ujjain on a boat of Home Guard. Devotees were greatly surprised to see the Chief Minister. Children taking the holy dip on the ghat started waving their hands and shouting Mama-Mama. The Chief Minister greeted people from various parts of the country who had come for the holy dip. He took stock of sanitation and security arrangements on ghats. The Chief Minister was accompanied by In-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh, Udaseen Akharas Mahant Raghumuni Maharaj, MLAs Mohan Yadav, Satish Malviya and Anil Firojiya. Chouhan sought blessings of former Vice President of Panchayati Akhara Mahant Brahmashri Majaraj at Panchayati Bada Udaseen Akhara. He also took Bhojan Prasadi with saints.
The Chief Minister visited camps and ashrams affected by rains and storm in Simhastha Meal area at Ujjain today. Chouhan wielded spade like common man, lifted headload and erected tents at Pandals and camps of saints and seers. Along with the Chief Minister, his wife Sadhana Singh also spread powdered gitti lifting tagadi on her head in camps and Pandals. After erecting tent, Chief Minister spread mattress himself and invited saints.
The Chief Minister offered voluntary labour for about 25 minutes at the camp of Ramraidasji Maharaj on plot number 373 in Mangalnath zone. He also asked accompanying public representatives and officers to volunteer labour. Meanwhile, the Chief Ministers body language was as easygoing and humble as a common man. He was motivating people for voluntary labour calling out to them Sab Kaam Karo Re, Rassi Achchhe Se Bandhna, Gaanth Theek Se Lagao like a common man.
