Bhopal: In a revenue campaign launched in Ujjain district, thousands of undisputed and disputed mutation cases, undisputed and disputed property distribution cases and demarcation cases have been settled bringing relief to the farmers. Similarly, land-rights and loan books were distributed in special gram sabhas held in the district on the directions of the state government. Cent-percent revenue cases have been registered in RMS software in the district. With this the prosecutors are being given updated information of their cases. Also, the irregularities and tendency of not registering cases in the previous years by the tehsil headquarters have been controlled.
In the year 2017, 12534 undisputed, 5449 disputed total 17993 mutation cases were settled, similarly other cases settled include 1604 disputed and 2485 undisputed total 4089 property distribution and 7112 demarcation cases were settled. This year the Revenue Department distributed land right books to three lakh 535 farmers. All new account holders were given loan books and their kisan credit cards were made on the spot.
Ujjain district has emerged as a leader in redressal of revenue cases for the welfare of farmers by the state government. In Ujjain district, undisputed mutation cases settled include 1827 in Ujjain tehsil, 1187 in Khachrod, 218 in Mahidpur, 4153 in Badnagar, 1345 in Tarana, 2269 in Nagda and 1535 in Ghattiya. Similarly disputed mutation cases were also settled fast. Disputed mutation cases settled in Ujjain tehsil were 389, 641 in Khachrod, 2846 in Mahidpur, 804 in Badnagar, 235 in Tarana, 363 in Nagda and 181 in Ghattiya.
Disputed property distribution cases were also settled in the district in a large number. While disputed property distribution cases would be pending for years, in this one year disputed property distribution cases settled include 86 in Ujjain tehsil, 214 in Khachrod, 461 in Mahidpur, 401 in Badnagar, 146 in Tarana, 197 in Nagda and 99 in Ghattiya. A large number of undisputed property distribution cases settled include 291 in Ujjain tehsil, 276 in Khachrod, 92 in Mahidpur, 807 in Badnagar, 406 in Tarana, 239 in Nagda and 374 in Ghattiya.
Demarcation cases are considered most important in redressal of revenue cases. Demarcation cases lead to disputed, criminal manhandling, murders etc. Collector issued instructions to settle all demarcation work. He said that the use of TSM machine be made mandatory in each Rajasva halka. As many as 678 demarcation cases were settled in Ujjain tehsil, 3071 in Khachrod, 42 in Mahidpur, 180 in Badnagar, 112 in Tarana, 87 in Nagda and 2942 in Ghattiya thus creating a record.
