Bhopal: School Education Minister and Madhya Pradesh State Chief Commissioner of Scouts and Guides Paras Jain has said that activities of the organisation will be intensified in all districts. Jain was addressing a meeting of Scouts and Guides state executive here today. Office-bearers and members of the executive body attended the meeting. Jain said that offices of Scouts and Guides will be opened in the districts where it has land already. Excellent performers in districts will be awarded. He informed that Scouts and Guides, NCC and other organisations rendered laudable service to devotees during recently concluded Simhastha.

Jain said that minimum 50 new life members of the organisation should be made in all districts. Every office-bearer should make and new members each. He directed to constitute units of Scouts and Guides in government schools. All DEOs would be imparted training of Scouts & Guides. He exhorted members and office-bearers to undertake social work with dedication. Jain also endorsed proposal to reinstate 114 suspended members.

The meeting endorsed annual and audit report for year 2014-15. Annual action plan for year 2016-17 was also approved. State Secretary Prakash Sisodiya presented detailed account of Scouts and Guides’ achievements during year 2014-15. Additional Director Rajya Shiksha Kendra Sheela Dahima, life members DS Raghav, Prakash Chittaura, Ramesh Chandra Sharma etc also attended the meeting.
