Bhopal: Six persons including one woman and two girls died at Pagaria valley at Indore-Bhopal highway on Sunday after their car rammed into divider; lone survival was sent to Sehore district hospital. The accident took place near a warehouse at Pagaria valley at Indore-Bhopal highway in the afternoon on Sunday and due to the impact of the collision five persons died on the spot while one died at hospital.

They were travelling from Bhopal to Indore when the incident occurred at Pagaria under Astha police station area. Locals rushed to the spot to rescue the injured.   According to police, the deceased were identified as Ankush Mahodiya (30), his wife Shraddha Bajpai (28), daughtes , Hiya (8) and Anshika (5) and his elder brother Anurag (32) . All the passengers were residents of Spring Valley Dew Colony in Katara Hills area of Bhopal.  The father of deceased Ankush and Anurag is a retired BHEL officer and the three used to work as contractors.

One of the passengers identified as Raj who is brother of Shradhha survived the accident and when he was taken to hospital he died during treatment.

The incident took place at around 1 pm, when the family was on its way to Bhopal from Indore in car bearing registration number MP04 CP 7210 when the driver of the vehicle lost control and collided with the divider. Police have sent the bodies for post mortem and have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
