Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government is for the public. Such an arrangement should be made that public does not have to face any difficulty. Problems of the public will not be tolerated. Chouhan was taking a video conference of Revenue and Energy Department at the Mantralaya on Monday. Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta was also present on the occasion. Chouhan said that a work plan of a campaign for distribution of copies of Khasra-Khatouni to every farmer at his doorstep should be made. This campaign will commence from coming August 15. Under the Act made to give pattas to the landless poor families, the population should be declared after selection of land. Make preparations for campaign to provide housing to every landless person. The campaign will commence from coming September 25. Revenue and Energy Department are two departments connected directly with the public. Various services connected with these departments should be supplied on time.

These services are being given on time under Lok Seva Guarantee Scheme. All collectors should do its monitoring. He told all collectors to send information within a week about the action taken against officials who have not solved revenue cases in the district within time limit. He told them to redress long-pending cases on priority basis. Revenue officers should sit in their Revenue Court on fixed days and get it registered on the portal. Removal of encroachments from government land should be done with a humanitarian approach. In this, alternative housing arrangement should be made before removing any poor from any place whereas encroachment by an influential person should be removed immediately. Make arrangements to tackle emergency situations in the rainy season. Prepare to prevent water-borne diseases. Experiment of crop cutting should be carried out in front of farmers.

Chouhan said that bills should be given according to the horse power of the agricultural pump. To change transformers the time limit fixed should be strictly adhered to. Campaign to make temporary agricultural pump connections permanent should be launched. Energy Department officers should tour the areas. Issues related to power supply should be solved at village level. Power supply should be constantly monitored; there should be no unprecedented power cuts.
