Bhopal: In the next process of tenders for establishment of world’s biggest 750 MW Rewa ultra mega solar project, first pre-bid meeting was held in New Delhi on April 1. The meeting was attended by major national and international renewable energy companies. For development of the project, various companies desirous for development of the project undertook visit to its site at Gurh tehasil of Rewa district on March 29. Successful developers were issued letters of invitation through tender portal on March 16. Selection of developers will be done on the basis of success on technical and financial basis in the first phase through reverse auction progress on tariff basis.
At pre-bid meeting, developers were apprised of various dimensions of project’s development. Major national-level companies including Tata Power, Aditya Birla Power Group, Mahindra Sustainable, Azure Power, Welspun Energy, Acme Solar, Orange Renewable, Shaporji Palonji, Adani Group, Enrich Energy etc are participating in the site visit. Major international companies including Anel Green-America, Soft Bank-Japan, Sky Power-Canada, Solar Direct-America, Segbcorp-Singapore and Sun Edison participated in discussions and sought necessary information about the project.
