Bhopal: In the ongoing campaign against the adulteration, action under the National Security Act (NSA) has been taken against two traders, Hardik S/o Dwarikadas Mahajan of Khargone district and Ummed Singh Rawat S/o Hukum Singh Rawat of Gwalior district. Total 1884 samples of milk, ghee, paneer, milk products, adulterants and food items have been taken till now under the campaign being conducted from July 20. The State Food Laboratory has tested 129 samples and found 40 samples of sub-standard quality, 13 of misbranded, 3 Adulterant, 72 of confirm quality and one of prohibitive level.
During the campaign, the Food Safety Officers has seized 3000 kg flour in Guna, 119 kg vanaspati (visible like ghee) in Ujjain and 125 kg namkeen of substandard quality in Hoshangabad district on Sunday. The Pradeep Masala Factory of Adhaartaal Industrial Area of Jablapur has been sealed due to the irregularities.
