Ujjain: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that no poor will be deprived of medical treatment in the state. Medical camps are being organized in the entire state. In these camps, free medical treatment will be provided to children suffering from heart diseases, cochlear implantation on hearing impaired persons. Besides, free treatment will be provided after identification of patients suffering from cancer and kidney diseases. Chouhan shared merriness with the children of the district benefited from heart treatment and cochlear implantation at Police Community Hall, Ujjain on Wednesday. Chouhan also celebrated the birthday of a child named Mayank Vyas by cutting a cake and extended best wishes to all for their best future.

Chouhan said that he is feeling satisfied meeting these children. He congratulated the District Administration and the Health Department for getting children operated free of cost in such a large number under the Mukhyamantri Bal Hridaya Yojna. Congratulating the children who are now able to hear after implantation of cochlear worth Rs 6.50 lakh, Chouhan said that there is a need to identify more children. He extended best wishes to all the children for their bright future. He also distributed hearing aids to the hearing impaired children on the occasion.

Under the Mukhyamantri Bal Hridaya Yojna 51 children were operated successfully in the district so far. Chouhan released a success story book focusing operations in the programme.

Chouhan blessed the newly wedded couple Shaina Bi and Irfan and presented gifts to them. Their nikah was performed recently under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojna. It is to be highlighted that nikah of Shaina Bi was performed with full festivities at the directives given by the Chief Minister Chouhan last December.

In the Sanvad-Shubhashish programme, toys were distributed to 51 children benefited under the Bal Hridya Yojna, 5 children, who have been implanted with cochlear and to 37 hearing impaired children. The toys and the gifts were provided by the Rotary Club.

A sum of Rs 68.20 lakh on operation of 51 children suffering from heart diseases and an amount of Rs 32.50 lakh has been spent by the District Administration and Health department on cochlear implantation of children. Rs 6.50 lakh has been spent on cochlear implantation on each child.

Minister for Energy Paras Jain, MP Chintamani Malviya, MLAs Mohan Yadav, Anil Firojia, Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Chairman Ujjain Development Authority Jagdish Agarwal and Chairman Simhastha Mela Authority Diwakar Natu were present in the Sanvad-Subhashish programme.
