Bhopal: Newly appointed Governor of Madhya Pradesh OP Kohli took oath of the office at Raj Bhavan on Thursday. The oath was administered by the Acting Chief justice of High Court Rajendra Menon. Oath taking ceremony was organized at 12.30 pm at Raj Bhavan premises today. Chief Secretary Antony DeSa conducted the oath taking ceremony programme. Guard of honour was given to the Governor Kohli after the oath. He also inspected the guard of honour.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife joined the oath taking ceremony. Speaker Vidhan Sabha Sitasharan Sharma, Deputy Speaker Vidhan Sabha Rajendra Kumar Singh, Leader in charge of the Opposition Bala Bachchan, Former CMs Sunderlal Patwa, Kailash Joshi, Babulal Gaur, Former Central Minister Suresh Pachauri, Members of State Cabinet, MP Alok sanjar, Mayor Alok Sharma, MPs, MLAs, Deputy Lokayukt AK Maheshwari, Chief Information Commissioner KD Khan, Chairman Waqf Board Shaukat Mohd. Khan, State President Congress Arun Yadav, DGP PRishi Kumar Shukla, Justices of High Court, Vice Chancellors, Senior Officers of Army and Police, Representatives of various religious and social organizations and Journalists were present on the occasion.
