Bhopal: Alleging that the BJP-led NDA regime has failed on all fronts, Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Girija Vyas on Thursday termed the two-years of the Narendra Modi as full of Jumlebaazi. While talking to media persons here on Thursday, Vyas said that the Modi government has done an excellent job on sloganeering and shouting from the rooftops about renaming schemes, appropriating Congress-led UPA’s success stories and making hollow claims. Targeting the economic policy of the Modi regime, Vyas said the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as depicted 7.3 per cent in 2014-15 while 7.5 per cent in this fiscal were not correct. There is broad skepticism about the realism of this data. Many experts believe the actual growth rate is around 5.5 per cent, she said.

Vyas also slammed the NDA regime for its failure to provide two crores job every year, control over inflation and sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities such as pulses and other things. She said the Modi regime also failed to control drought that affected over 33 crore people in ten states.

Regarding bringing back of black money stashed in foreign banks, Vyas said Modi had promised that he will put people with black money behind bars, now they have come up with way to save those people. Their policy to check black money is nothing but a Fair and Lovely scheme, she added. She also criticised the NDA regime for its foreign policy and deteriorating relations with immediate neighbours Nepal, Pakistan and China.
