Ujjain: My Stamp scheme introduced by Department of Post during Simhastha-2016 at Ujjain is gaining popularity. A devotee can perpetuate memory of Simhastha in the form of postal stamp. Total 12 special Simhastha postal stamps’ sheet with photograph of concerning person is provided for Rs 300. One sheet contains 12 stamps.This is being regarded as a novel initiative to perpetuate memories of Simhastha. Devotees have started availing its benefit right from day-one. It is noteworthy that Government of India has released My Stamp and special cover of Simhastha-2016. Artistic sketch of Shri Mahakaleshwar Mandir and figure of conch with river Kshipra and photographs of saints-seers in the background have been depicted on the cover.
