Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart is being organized in Bhopal from October 5 to 7 this year. About 190 buyers, 80 sellers and exhibitors besides representatives of various associations including Tour and Travel Association, Hotel-Hospitality and ATOAI from all over the world will take part in the fifth edition of the travel mart. Information about preparations for the travel mart was provided at a review meeting presided over by Managing Director of Principal Secretary, Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Hari Ranjan Rao.
During the meeting, Rao laid stress on the need to make good use of the available time through result-oriented and useful discussion on tourism expansion in the business meet with the representatives who are expected to come in the important event. Among those present at the meeting were MD T Ilaya Raja, Upper Managing Director of the Board Bhavna Valimbe besides Tourism Board and Tourism Corporation officials.
It was informed during the meeting that Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart will commence at Ashoka Lake View premises on October 6.
In the exhibition section in the Mart, stalls put up by the tourism corporations, boards and tour travel agencies of various stated will be the centre of attraction. Some of the programmes of the Mart will be organized in the International Convention Centre (Minto Hall). Different representatives will tour prominent tourist sites of Madhya Pradesh after taking part in the Mart.
