Bhopal: An MoU was signed between the National Health Mission and Satya Sai Prashanti Medical Services and Research Foundation at the Mantralaya in the presence of Chief Minister Kamal Nath for the treatment of children with heart ailments. As per the MoU, as many as 1000 children will be provided free treatment for heart related ailments by the Foundation every year. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Tulsi Ram Silavat was also present on this occasion.

The Chief Minister said that the government is committed towards the treatment of children suffering from heart ailments. He said that the state government is providing free treatment to such children to free them of heart related problems. With voluntary organizations getting connected to this work, we would be successful in providing treatment to children of the state who are battling with heart ailments.

According to the MoU signed today, free camps will be organized under Child Heart Treatment Scheme for the treatment of children up to 18 years of age by Satya Sai Prashanti Medical Services and Research Foundation with the support of National Health Mission. Through the camps, children suffering from heart ailments will be identified and treated free-of-cost.

The MoU was signed by Director National Health Mission Chhavi Bharadwaj and Managing Trustee of Satya Sai Prashanti Medical Services and Research Foundation Manoj Bhimani. Principal Secretary Public Health and Family Welfare Pallavi Jain Govil was present.
