Bhopal: Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra inaugurated the Kuposhan Mukti Yojana for the families of Sahariya tribe at Neevri village in Datia district on Saturday. Mishra provided monthly financial assistance of Rs 1000 to the women of Sahariya families. This fund will be given to the women of each family every month. About 2300 families of Sahariya tribes of Datia district will benefit from the scheme.

PR Minister Mishra said that Madhya Pradesh is providing wheat, rice and salt at one rupee per kg. Now with this new scheme Rs 1000 will be deposited in the account of women members of each family for nutrition. The government wants children of the Sahariya families to be healthy. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed towards the development of Sahariya tribe.

Mishra told that Madhya Pradesh government has taken an important decision towards the welfare of Sahariya tribe. Now the youths of this tribe will be appointed in government services without having to give written examination. Several public representatives will be present on the occasion.
