Bhopal: Minister for Narmada valley Development and Tourism Surendra Singh Baghel reviewed ongoing schemes in Kukshi Assembly Constituency of Dhar district on Sunday. Baghel said that keeping in view the depleting ground water level, efforts should be made to revive abandon rural tap-water schemes. Deepening work of well, pond and river besides other alternative sources should be done, he added.

Minister Baghel further stated that in case of less number of beneficiaries of various schemes in rural areas, survey should be conducted again so that maximum number of beneficiaries could avail benefit of the schemes. He told that the amount of the first installment of the Awas Yojana should be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries immediately after completing registration in the year 2019-20.

Besides, Baghel told that incomplete works should be completed in the stipulated time. He said that action should be taken at the earliest for construction of Gou-Shala. Guaranteed employment should be given to the unemployed persons under the MNREGA and other self-employment schemes.
