Bhopal: Minister for Home and Transport Bhupendra Singh gave directives to the officials to conduct a special campaign in order to prevent illegal plying of buses from September 1 to 15. Singh directed the DGP and Commissioner Transport that joint action should be taken under the campaign by the police and the transport department. Under the special campaign, over loading, document related to bus drivers and conductors, fitness, permit, insurance policy, speed governor in school buses and pressure horns will be checked. Singh also directed the officials to add checking of emergency windows, provision of two doors as well as PUC under the campaign.
Singh said that the senior officers should also participate in the campaign. He further mentioned that he will also become a part of the campaign and will keep constant vigil over the activities.
