Bhopal: In the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh has signed a memorandum of understanding with China’s leading machine manufacturing company Sany Group at Beijing today. The Sany Group offered investment worth $1 billion. The MoU was signed by DP Ahuja, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation on behalf of Government of Madhya Pradesh and Li Jingjing, Vice President of Sany Group. Liang Wengen, Chairman of the Board of Sany Group discussed investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh. Liang said the Sany Group is interested in investing around $1 billion in the state in 500 MW wind energy sector and industrial infrastructure building.
Chouhan said that all possible arrangements would be made for ease of doing business for the Sany Group. He welcomed the Group saying that all possible help would be extended. He also invited the Group executives to Global Investors’ Summit being held at Indore on October 22, 23, 2016. He said that Madhya Pradesh is out and out an investment-friendly State.
Unfolding investment plans, Chairman of the Group Liang Wengen informed that the Group is exploring opportunities to invest 10-20 million dollars. Investmeent of $1 billion in Madhya Pradesh is a part of the investment plans he added. He also informed that the Group is also planning to establish large scale electricity plants or build factories to manufacture our construction equipment.
Liang said that the Group can contribute both technology and capital and can take advantage of vast market and have better development. Thus the Group intends to strengtehn the friendship between the great countries.
The China Fortune Land Development Co Ltd (CFLD), has shown in town development. It has established a massive high-tech industrial town of the size of Singapore about 50 kms away from Beijing, the Chinese capital. Its Vice President Liang expressed interest in developing an industrial town in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister Chouhan underlined massive opportunities for development of towns in several cities including Gwalior.
