Bhopal: Lectures on various subjects were given by the scholars on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebration programme of RCVP Naronha Administration and Management Academy. Former Secretary Planning Commission and Advisor UNDP NC Saxena was the main speaker in the Naronha memorial lecture. Saxena delivered lecture on various issues on the subject Bharat Mein Samajik Kshetra ki Chunotiya. He underlined problems like poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, education quality and health. Beside this, he also analysed different aspects related to economic dissimilarity. Saxena informed about result of comparative study of progress indicators of developing countries related to the problems.

He mentioned that public servants play an important role in implementation of governments schemes. He also underlined the inconsistencies linked to various responsibilities of public servants. Chief Secretary Antony DeSa gave vote of thanks at the end.

A practical presentation on Jalvayu Parivartan ke Samadhan ke liye Samudayik Vikendrikrat Jal Prabhandhan evam Nadi Punarjeevan was given by Magasaysay award recipient Rajendra Singh who has undertaken ground works in the last 32 years towards water conservation. He urged to start water literacy campaign in the state. He laid emphasis on water conservation besides intelligent use of water. Giving opinion, answering question on linking rivers, he expressed his opposition and expressed need to link rivers with human welfare. He said that climate change can be controlled by adaptation of community water management and increase in Greenery. Officer on special duty Sharad Shashank Gaur introduced the speakers. OSD Sudhir Kumar gave vote of thanks.
