Bhopal: Global Investor Summit to be held at Indore will begin on October 22 at Brilliant Convention Center. Inaugural session will take place on October 22 at 10 am. Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley and Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ravishankar Prasad will attend inauguration session as Chief Guests. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also present during the summit. Ambassadors of Partner Countries, CEOs of Industrial Groups and Representatives from abroad will present in the inaugural session. After the inaugural session, sessions on different subjects will take place from 2 to 5.30 pm. In these sessions, the special speakers will provide information on scope of investment, investment policy and special features of Madhya Pradesh to the Industrialists and Ambassadors of Foreign countries. On the first day, sessions of UAE and Japan will be held. Besides, deliberations will be held on scope of investment in Textile, ESDM, Tourism, Automobile Engineering, Agri-Business and Food Processing and Pharmaceuticals sectors. Cultural evening has been organized at the Nakshatra garden of Brilliant Convention Center at 7 pm.

On October 23, the second day of Summit, different session will be held from 10 am to 11.15 pm. Besides, session of the partner country South Korea, subject experts will apprise investors in the session focusing Make in India, New and Renewable Energy, Scope of export in Madhya Pradesh and Urban Development.

Concluding session will be held on October 23, the second day of summit from 11.30 am. Union Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, Union Minister for Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu and Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan will present as chief guests in the session.

On the eve of summit i.e. October 21, a global CEOs conclave will be held in the presence of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at 7.30 pm. CM Chouhan will inaugurate exhibition in the evening in summit. The exhibition is being organized in 5600 square meter area. Products will be displayed by 80 companies in the exhibition. Moreover, a pavilion focusing development in Madhya Pradesh will be set up separately. Five countries Japan, South Korea, UAE, Singapore and United Kingdom are participating as partner countries in the summit. Beside this, around 40 foreign delegations mainly from Italy, Belgium, China, America, Australia, Hong Kong, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Poland, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hungary are participating in the summit.
