Indore: Renowned industrialists of country and abroad, attending the Global Investors Summit 2016 on the first day in Indore appreciated Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan open heartedly. Appreciation of any chief minister of state was not seen earlier in any public programme. Chouhan systematically and in planned manner developed infrastructure in the state by holding one after another summit for industrial promotion which is an honest effort for sustainable development and for employment to youth, promotion to agriculture through agri-based business and industries, tourism, textile and information technology, automobile and other sectors. Endorsing the efforts, all speakers expressed publically the affection and respect for Chouhan.

As many as 22 speakers addressed the inaugural function focusing the old scene of Madhya Pradesh and endeavour and decisions for development taken in last decade and future progress. Some speakers mentioned the honest efforts by Chief Minister Chouhan for development, which is seen rarely. Industrialists lauded Chouhan’s simplicity and commitment for the state’s development.

President of Hinduja Automotive Hinduja called the chief minister industry-friendly. President of Aditya Birla Group Kumar Mangalam Birla described his experience of investment in Madhya Pradesh as pleasant. ADAG Reliance Group president Anil Ambani said Madhya Pradesh is ideal place for investment. Sun Pharmaceutical MD Dilip Sanghvi expressed desire to increase investment in MP. Quoting the economic development rate of MP faster than other states, Patanjali Ltd chief Swami Ramdevji informed investment scheme which will provide benefits to 10,000 farmers in MP. President of SR Group Shashi Ruia and President of Trident Group Gupta described industrial promotion policy of Chief Minister Chouhan better than other states.

The scene was rare as Union finance minister Arun Jaitley and Union Communication and IT minister Ravishankar Prasad embraced Chief Minister Chouhan after he finished his speech. It is fact that not only investors, but tourists and relatives of MP domiciles used to avoid seeing the bad conditions, and now they feel Madhya Pradesh as different and unique from other states.

Arun Jaitley recalled the time when he was organisation in-charge of Madhya Pradesh and faced difficulties in reaching Bhopal to Indore by road. Jaitley also mentioned the devoted efforts of Chief Minister Chouhan for the state to achieve all dimensions of progress in last decade.
