Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Indian Soil and Culture is full of liberalization and globalization. Nationalism and liberalization not oppose each other whereas they are one. Chouhan was addressing the group session on Nav-Udarikaran aur Bhoomandlikaran ke Daur mein Rashtriyata at the second day of Lok Manthan here today. Chouhan mentioned that Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam has been said in India thousand years ago. There is always liberty for views in India. After Monarchy in west, democracy took birth with an objective to establish freedom and equality. Moreover, after industrial evolution, communism emerged for proletarian to oppose exploitation.

Communism and later capitalism could not made happiness possible for the humans. Happiness is utmost essential for heart, intelligence and souls beside body. Life conducting arrangement has been made through Dharm, Arth, Kaam, Moksh and Purushartha in Indian Culture. Human is not only person but it is also society. Hence we have to deliberate for the happiness of the society. Consciousness is omnipresent is the basic of Indian Philosophy. Nature should not be exploited but it should be utilized. This eternal view can give direction to the world.

Chouhan said that Integrated Humanity philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya is based on Indian traditions. He said that there should be no scarcity of money in life and neither should it dominate life. Referring to the Union Government decision Chouhan said that the effect of essence was eliminated by after demonetizing Rs. 500 and 1000 currency notes. This decision will eliminate black money, counterfeit notes and funding to terrorism.

Former Union Minister Dr Murli Manohar Joshi said that nationalism strengthen spirit of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam whereas globalization is mere economic thought. There is a difference between both but coordination is also required. As per the western thoughts, the creator of the world lives outside the world, create it again and punish. Humans are sent to earth for gratification. Moreover, western thoughts consider that nature is not live, cannot sense, hence it is permitted to enjoy it.

Dr Joshi further mentioned that it is being said that globalization is not meant for poor and poor countries. This is the basic behind the western thought, consciousness can exploit unconsciousness. The foundation of consciousness is balance in Indian culture. Not more than needed and not less than required. We are being impacted by the western culture. Family is our basic foundation and disintegration will collapse the world. Globalization today hinders individuality, complexity and superiority. Prosperity does not bring serenity and India must understand to balance it. West needs market only and we need market as well as family.

In the context of Nationalism, Member of Niti Ayog Dr Vivek Deboroy while giving example of Swami Vivekanand said that Indian Population believes in Moksha (salvation), believes in eternal joy. If I do not feel pride for India, it means I have no sense of pride towards myself. There is a danger on our thousand years old cultures in the name of globalization. We do not even understand our old culture and traditions. Even Nineteen thousand Shastras have not yet been translated so far from our 35,000 shastras.
