Bhopal: Important proposals were received from American companies in investment and social sectors in madhya Pradesh during Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s America visit. He said that brand Madhya Pradesh had now been established in the world, because of the constant efforts by the State government in last years. Foreign companies are eager to invest in the state. Foreign companies are giving priority to the state for investment, because of industrial environment, ease-of-doing business, best infrastructure like land, water, power, rail, road and air connectivity, industrial peace and better peaceful law and order.

Chouhan said that the visit remained successful more than the expectations. During the visit special efforts were made for generating employment opportunities. MoUs were signed with Information Technology companies in which over 10,000 youths will get job on the investment to the tune of Rs 1000 crore. One to one discussion was held with companies and 100 companies took part in investors convention. Madhya Pradesh was termed as the most appropriate state for capital investment. Companies were invited for investment and GIS in the state, informing them about prospects of investment, industrial policies, ease-of doing business and prompt decision making system. Delegates of over 200 industrial groups will participate in GIS 2016.

During the visit, investors conference was organised under the joint aegis of TRIFAC, CII-USIBC. Around 150 delegates of 100 American companies participated in the conference. Former American ambassador in India, Frank Waijnner, who is associate with India First, an organisation working for strengthening Indo-USA relations, also participated in the conference.

Five MoUs were signed by UST Global, Netlink, and Davatfood during the visit. Proposals were received for setting up units from foreign investment and establishing industrial park, besides two proposals in IT sector, five in manufacturing sector. Also, four proposals were received for investment through tender in infrastructure development in the state. Proposals were got from world-known pharmaceutical company working in health and social sectors and organisation of doctors of Indian origin.

Chouhan said that a proposal has been received for job to 5000 persons in investment to the tune of Rs 650 crore, by UST Global in IT sector. One thousand women will be given job in this proposal. Jobs will be provided to 3000 persons in investment of Rs 100 crore by Serious Exem, 1000 persons in investment of Rs 100 crore by TWR company and further job to 1000 persons in investment of Rs 100 crore by Errex InfoTech.

In addition to this, 25 acre land has been given to Rajiv Kaul, of Kaul Group, for establishing IT park. The company has assured to start construction soon. Similarly, delegate of RMC company, Jeftol will set up BPO in Indore’s crystal IT park. Land will be given in IT Park. The unit will provide job to 500 persons.

IT Strategies, TRW Company are famous Japanese companies for manufacturing automobile components in manufacturing sector. The company has given consent to establish auto component unit by the investment of Rs 1000 crore and that will provide jobs to 400 persons. The company will select land in December 2016.

Successful entrepreneur and NRI Chetan Khadria has given a proposal for wireless transponder for high frequency wireless services. The company is submitting application for high frequency spectrum to the government of India. After allotment of spectrum, it will set up transponder manufacturing unit. Consent was made on the proposal of Progress Rail Company for rail component manufacturing. The company produces locomoto parts, signals and telecommunication equipment. The company has set up its unit in NOIDA. The company will establish its unit for rail components manufacturing in the state and provide information about job opportunities and investment further.

Coca Cola is setting up its unit with the investment of Rs 750 crore in the state. It wants more investment in food processing sector and will finalise its proposal soon with discussion with MD, TRIFAC. Sunlight Financial company has proposed for manufacturing unit for solar energy plant and photovoltaic cell.

CASMI (China Association of Small and Medium Enterprise) will set up industrial park on 500 acre land, for investment by Chinese companies. The association was informed about land near Gwalior and Indore. A team will visit Indore and Gwalior next week. The investment, selection of place, estimates of infrastructure will be informed further. The association will visit GIS with 50 delegates of small industries.
