Bhopal: Minority Welfare Minister Arif Aqueel reached Islam Nagar Eintkhedi and reviewed the preparations for the 72nd Ijtema to be held in Bhopal from November 22 to November 25. He told to ensure proper arrangements one month before the Ijtema by October. Arif Aqueel said that shops are not allowed to be put up around the Ijtema site so that traffic is not affected. No markets should be allowed within 2 km of the Ijtema site. The one and a half km road from the main road to the site should be doubled and separated by dividers. Aqueel directed to ensure cleanliness till two days after the Ijtema. He said that plastic will be totally banned at the site.

The Minority Welfare Minister directed to arrange permanent lighting at the Ijtema site. He told to ensure facilities for visitors at both the entrances at the railway station also. He told the Collector to make arrangements regarding train timings after a meeting with the DRM. Help from volunteers should be taken to ensure arrangements from Bhopal Talkies to the Ijtema site. He told to hold a meeting of the volunteers with Police administration. He told to ensure the availability of doctors at the site during Ijtema. The facility of health centre should also be provided on the way to Lambakheda. Divisional Commissioner Kalpana Shrivastava, IG Yogesh Deshmukh, DIG Irshad Wali, Collector Tarun Pithode were present in the meeting.
