Bhopal: Public Health and Family Welfare Minister has directed to complete construction of trauma centre and hospital buildings within time-limit. About 900 works are going on for construction and repairs of trauma centre and hospital buildings in 45 districts of the state. Singh directed to prescribed norms to construct hospital buildings keeping in view technical aspects, convenience of patients etc and construction should be undertaken accordingly so that time is not wasted in alterations. Health Minister Rustam Singh was reviewing departmental activities here on Sunday.

Minister of State for Health Sharad Jain said that the hospital having surplus doctors should send such doctors to the hospitals with less physicians. Discussions were held in the meeting on filling vacancies of doctors and paramedical staff in government hospitals, upgradation of health centres, disposal of bio-waste of hospitals, availability of Janani Express and 108 vehicles especially in Rural areas, sanitation, distribution of medicines in hospitals etc.

Principal Secretary Medical Education, Public Health and Family Welfare Gauri Singh, Health Commissioner Deepali Rastogi, Mission Director NHM Kiran Gopal, Secretary Health Suraj Damor, Director Dr KL Sahu, Director Dr BN Chouhan, Director Dr KK Thassu and Chief Engineer Katare also attended the meeting.
