Bhopal: Governor Lalji Tandon has instructed the universities to take part in the NAAC grading procedure with full preparedness for the quality of higher education. He expected that the Vice Chancellors will focus on the development of quality in their respective institutions in coordination and cooperation. He also asked to make the preparations by formulating a systematic action plan.
The Governor has made arrangements to seek suggestions by discussing the parameters of the NAAC in preparing necessary formats for the process of assessment of the NAAC In order to help the universities. On the direction of Governor Tandon, seven workshops were organized on each parameter of the NAAC assessment according to the suggestions of the Working Group. In these workshops, representatives of private and government universities of the state understood the minute details of the NAAC assessment process. In the workshops, Vice Chancellors of various universities of the state explained the various stages of NAAC assessment.
As per the directives of the Governor, the first workshop was organized by the Barkatullah University to get a higher place in the NAAC assessment for the higher educational institutions of the state. The workshop was attended by the Vice Chancellors of private and government universities of the state. The Chairman of NAAC Prof VS Chauhan and Principal Secretary Hariranjan Rao were also present at the workshop.
