Bhopal: Cooperatives department will be the first government department where file tracking system will start its functioning from September 16. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate it in two-day ‘Sahkari Manthan’. Cooperative experts will discuss and submit their findings for strengthening cooperatives movement and incorporating every person with the cooperatives. Minister of State for Cooperatives (independent charge) Vishwas Sarang on Thursday reviewed file tracking system and preparations for two-day ‘Sahkari Manthan’. Sarang said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had expressed intention to implement file tracking system in all departments after cabinet reshuffle. Sarang said that the department did constant work on it. Now it is ready to implement the system. He said, it would speed up the work and bring transparency.

Sarang said that experts and experienced persons of the sector will discuss action plan for next six months in the two-day ‘Sahkari Manthan’. He said that cooperatives movement and institutions will be strengthened on the basis of the findings, with extending benefits to the grass root people.

Nine groups have been formed for discussion on different subjects in the programme. They include action plan to make equal cooperatives banks with other competitive banks, challenges and up gradation of cooperative banks, possible financial irregularities in cooperative credit structure, causes and measures for their redressing, new work culture and human resources development in cooperatives banks, to develop Primary cooperative society as multi-purpose service provider, innovation in cooperative, role of apex cooperative institutions in development of cooperative values and cooperative institutions, action plan for strengthening of cooperatives and skill development and employment creation through cooperatives.
