Bhopal: Different competitions were held among students of 29 states on the third day in the 62nd National School Sports Championship in Bhopal. Parinita of Telangana and Anuradha Gupta of Jharkhand became winners in 40 kg weight in Wushu competition in 19 years age group. Similarly, Neha of Delhi and Prabhujot Kaur of Punjab emerged winners in 44 kg weight category. Namrata of Madhya Pradesh and Komal of Vidya Bharati in 48 kg weight group, Upasana of Gujarat in 56 kg category and Monika of Delhi in 60 kg category were the winners. In the 17 years age group, Prachi Rani of Punjab, Neha Warsi of Gujarat, and Yamini Singh of Bihar in 52 kg weight category were the winners. Ashish of Madhya Pradesh and Kushpreet Singh of Punjab were winners in 40 kg and 48 kg weight categories respectively.

In the round matches in Lagori competition, Gujarat, Delhi and Goa (in girl group) and Telangana, Vidya Bharati, Delhi, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra (in boys group) emerged as winners. Maharashtra was the first and Goa was the second in pool A Telangana was the first and Vidya Bharti remained second in the pool B. Semi final of pool A will be held between Maharashtra and Vidya Bharati and second semifinal will take place between Telangana and Goa.

Teams of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab and Tamilnadu remained winners in the hockey matches held at Major Dhyanchnand Academy sports ground. Teams of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, Delhi and Haryana won their matches in Aish Bagh Stadium.
