Bhopal: Minister for Home and Transport Bhupendra Singh said that Dial 100 services have boosted peoples trust on police. The Dial 100 is giving prompt services in the state just like services in the foreign countries. Singh flagged off 45 vehicles from the state level control room of Dial 100. He also inspected the control room and apprised himself in detail about the services. Singh said that police sensitivity has saved lives of many girls and women by admitting them in the hospitals through Dial 100. The Dial 100 has rendered services reaching places within a short time in case of emergencies.

Not a single complaint has been received that police has reached late at the site after the information of accident or any untoward incident. He further mentioned that work of dial 100 is praiseworthy. Singh said that it has accelerated the pace of the system and crime rate is on decline due to police vigilance.

The Minister said that dial 100 is working on advance system and government will provide all help to make it more advanced. All the necessary resources will be made available for dial 100. He mentioned that the state has achieved leading position in the country by rendering dial 100 services.

Director General Police Rishi Kumar Shukla said that Dial 100 is a first unique scheme of the country and biggest in the world. Dial 100 has proved its utility and it will complete one year on November 1. Total 960 vehicles are being made available for services after todays dedication and efforts are being taken to make it 1000 by the end of this month.

Additional DGP (Telecommunication) Anvesh Mangalam informed about the dial 100. He gave detail information from receiving information at control room to action at incidents site and feedback etc.
