Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the outgoing Chief Secretary Antony DeSa has all the qualities of best officer. State has attained remarkable achievements in various fields during his tenure. His tenure and gentle behaviour will always be remembered. Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has better bureaucracy in compare to other states. He was addressing the programme organized at Mantralaya on the occasion of DeSa farewell. Chanting a Shlok of Bhagwad Gita, Chouhan said that DeSa has all the qualities of a pious worker and best officer. He has no arrogance for holding a important position and has competency to take everyone along with enthusiasm and patience in every situation. DeSa was always careful about his responsibilities and had never shown apathy towards the implementation of government decisions.

Chouhan further mentioned that he was fortunate to have DeSa who possessed humane, energetic, careful and honest qualities. Chouhan mentioned about two successful Global Investors Summt, Simhasta challenging planning and construction of Shaurya Smarak and other significant achievements during the tenure of DeSa. While expressing trust, Chouhan said that the state has achieved great heights during the period of DeSa, the same tradition will be followed by the newly appointed Chief Secretary BP Singh.

Additional Chief Secretary Home BP Singh said that he is fortunate that he started his career under DeSa. He is honest, kind hearted and has all the good qualities of an officer. Recalling the work culture of DeSa, Singh said that he always used to give attention to tiny things of their colleagues. He prayed to the Almighty for happy and long life of DeSa. Secretary General Administration Rashmi Arun Shami, while conducting the programme narrated the achievements during the tenure of DeSa who is retiring on October 31. Principal Secretary Satish Mishra gave vote of thanks.
