Bhopal: Field Director Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve Vincent Rahim informed that an orientation programme is being conducted in the Reserve in collaboration with the Health Department for prevention from Corona Virus. In the program held on the second Wednesday of January, February and March, RMO Dr Sandipak Singh and Nodal Officer Corona Virus Anil Singh gave information to the resort managers, gypsy operators, tourist guides and forest personnel regarding Corona virus and its prevention.
In the orientation programme held at the Eco Training Centre, Dr Singh informed that an alert has been issued against Corona in all medical colleges, district hospitals and primary health centres of the state. All possible arrangements for treatment have been made in these hospitals.
Dr Singh said that symptoms of patients affected by Corona virus are similar to pneumonia. The affected person gets symptoms like cold, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, cough, fever and kidney failure. Its virus spreads through the air. Do not shake hands with a person suffering from cold, fever etc. Keep a distance of at least 6 feet because the virus caused by sneeze, cough, etc. of the affected person cannot go far.
Wash hands several times a day with soap and water or use a sanitizer. Use disposable tissue paper when coughing and sneezing. Throw away the used tissue paper and wash your hands. Do not touch eyes, nose and mouth without washing hands. If there is no tissue paper, use your arm while sneezing and coughing. Wear an N-95 mask to protect against the virus. Avoid proximity with people infected with a cold or flu.
