Bhopal: Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology Umashankar Gupta while reviewing the construction works of IT Parks directed the officials to complete the construction works of IT park of Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur within the stipulated time and fix monthly target for it. It may be mentioned that development work is being undertaken by the State Housing and Infrastructure Development Board. Gupta told the officers to complete the administrative building and work related to electric substation of IT Park Badwai till October. Whoever has bought plot in the IT Park, development charges should be collected from them. Moreover, he gave directives to get the development works completed of IT Indore and IT Jabalpur Park till the month of November and December respectively.

It is informed in the meeting that 204.16 acre land has been provided for the IT Park of Badwai, Bhopal. Project cost of the IT Park, Bhopal is Rs 1255.26 crore and it has 99 plots. Similarly, IT Park at Sinhasa Indore will be developed in 82.81 acre with a cost of Rs 108.31 crore land having 27 plots. Similarly, IT Park Jabalpur will be developed in 66.27 acre land and at Gadheri Jabalpur with a project cost of Rs 91.12 crore having total 68 plots.

Minister Gupta said that a scheme should be prepared beforehand to ensure water availability at these parks. He gave directives for constant monitoring of development works. Principal Secretary Science and Technology Mohammad Suleman, Commissioner Housing and Infrastructure Development Board Nitesh Vyas and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation M Selvendran were present in the meeting.
