Bhopal: The State Cabinet here on Wednesday decided to reduce collector guideline rates by 20 percent in the entire state has been taken to encourage real estate and construction sector in the state. Along with this necessary increase would be made in charges/ fee payable to the government in order to protect total revenue of the government so that negligible change would come in total payable amount of registry.
It has also been decided that the burden of stamp duty/registration charges/cess/additional duty should be increased from 7.3 percent to 9.5 percent in the entire state and 12.5 percent from 10.3 percent in urban areas.
The State Cabinet has taken a decision that the stamp duty @ Rs 1000 and registration fee @ Rs 100 should be kept subject to the maximum limit to include wife or daughter in the form of co-owner in property. Till now the stamp duty is one percent and registry fee is 0.8 percent according to the valuation of the property. Moreover, a decision has also been taken to reduce current rate of stamp duty from 2.5 percent to 0.5 percent in family division to make internal division convenient in families.
Under the Madhya Pradesh Irrigation Management, Ordinance of Farmers Participation 2019, the State cabinet has taken a decision and approved increase in fixed payable date of short term crop loan distributed by Primary Credit Cooperative Societies in Kharif Season 2018 and Rabi Season 2018-19 from June 15 to June 30.
The State cabinet also decided to increase the period of absorption scheme implemented for merger of remaining employees of State/ District Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Banks to December 31. The merger scheme was expired on March 31, 2019. According to the decision, the remaining employees of these banks will be absorbed against vacant posts available in cooperative institutions/banks along with various corporations and boards of the state government.
In order to strengthen Drug Regulatory System, the state cabinet has taken a decision for construction of Food and Drug Testing Laboratories in Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior. Besides, the state cabinet has taken a decision to give contractual appointment to Kanhaiyyalal Pandey, the retired superintendent of Commissioner Cooperative and Registrar Cooperative Societies, Bhopal on the post of Assistant Grade-1 in Madhya Pradesh State Law Commission, Bhopal.
The state cabinet has decided to observe Advocate’s Day on the occasion of birthday of the First President and Renowned Lawyer Late Rajendra Prasad on December 3.
The Cabinet gave an administrative sanction of Rs 1184.85 crore has been given for 620 bed academic hospital building under the first phase of Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences, 293 bed super- specialty block, 200 bed cardiac centre and for expansion of basic infrastructural construction works of 680 bed etc.
Similarly, under the Collegiate Hostel Scheme, the state cabinet has granted approval of Rs 107.95 crore for the posts of 15 superintendents and for increase of 165 seats in 8 hostels as a result of opening of 15 new collegiate hostels. Apart from this, under the Senior Hostel Scheme, an amount of Rs 917.52 crore has been approved by the state cabinet to open 20 new senior hostels and 4 akansha hostels.
