Besides, the Chief Minister said that water is an essential need of all. Without water we can’t even think of life. Hence, it is necessary that youth must play an important role in water conservation works. He urged youth that they should work as Jal-Doot. We can use water in a better manner by saving every drop of water with their ideas, perspective and passion. He told youth that wherever they are, whatever work they are doing, they should generate awareness about the water conservation among all the sections of society in their respective areas. They should give their maximal contribution in works to stop water.

Kamal Nath said that draught is a natural calamity. Nobody has control over it but people have courage and strength to tackle draught. Therefore, we can face this crisis successfully by doing works of water conservation. He further mentioned that we all have to do all necessary work together to stop rain water in village itself in this monsoon. Instead of big schemes, we will have to do small but important works related to ponds, check dams, percolation ponds on farms-ponds, construction of boundaries and well recharge together in rural areas at local level. Do plantation at wide scale, water them and also protect them.
