Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivarj Singh Chouhan urged the talented people to contribute for the development of the state. He said that students and talented people should contribute with the government for the progress of the state and the country. He was addressing the programme organized to distribute lap tops to the talented students under the Meghavi Vidhyarthi Protsahan Scheme at Lal Parade ground here on Wednesday. Around 53 lakh rupees were distributed through high tech system for lap tops to the17,196 students who have obtained over 85 per cent marks in the 12th class examination of Board of Secondary Education. Students also took selfies with Chouhan.

Chouhan said that he is attached emotionally with the children. He wished from the bottom of his heart that the children should have bright future. They earn the name and fame in the entire world. Progress of children will move their parents, state and country ahead. State government is making all efforts to provide them resources, facilities and opportunities. All the hindrances coming in the way of education are being eliminated. Economic assistance for higher education besides free books, uniforms, cycles, scholarships are being provided to the talented girl students. Also scholarship is being given to the needy children of weaker section. Now scholarship is also being provided to the talented students of general category to enable them to pursue education overcoming their poverty.

He said that the children of the state have extraordinary talent. Their contribution is must for the development of the state. Hence, they should get better education. The state government has taken a pledge that not a single daughter and son of the state should be deprived of education pursuing studies in the higher education institutes of the country because of unavailability of funds. A scheme has been made to realise this pledge, under this the fee will be borne by the state government of those students who are getting admitted to the higher education institutes and who are unable to bear the fee. In order to make this scheme suitable and viable, suggestions are being sought form the students by the Chief Minister Chouhan on his face book, twitter and portal to express their expectations and desires.
