Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath will dedicate the Super Specialty Hospital in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College of Jabalpur on Saturday. Medical Education Minister Vijailaxmi Sadho on Friday inspected the hospital and arrangements. The hospital, built at a cost of about Rs 150 crores, has a world-class 7 modular operation theatre, high-level Cath lab, Biplane DSA and a 30-bed modern ICU. Here, all brain and spine operations, heart surgery, dialysis, laser treatment of stone and prostate gland will be performed. MLA Vinay Saxena and Divisional Commissioner Rajesh Bahuguna were also present during the inspection.
Sadho told that with the availability of super specialty facilities in Jabalpur, now people will not have to go to AIIMS Delhi or medical institutions of neighbouring states or other cities. Facilities of Neuro-surgery, Neurology, Urology, Nephrology, Neonatology, Cardiology, Anaesthesia, Radiology etc. will be available in the hospital. Ultra modern machines like Biplane, Angiography etc. have also been set up in the hospital. These machines can provide diagnosis and proper treatment of paralysis and heart attack also immediately.
Sadho said that with the opening of Super Specialty Hospital in Jabalpur, districts including Jabalpur, Seoni, Balaghat, Katni, Sagar, Damoh, Chhindwara, Shahdol, Umaria, Shivpuri, Datia, Guna, Satna, Anuppur, Rewa, Vidisha, Narsinghpur, Khandwa etc. will also get state-of-the-art medical facilities. Sadho said that the common man will get relief due to the availability of expensive treatment in this government hospital.
