Bhopal: State Minister (independent charge) for Cooperatives, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Vishwas Sarang has said that the residence of the States Chief Minister has become a house for the 7.5 crore public of the state. He said that development of the state will now be based on the all round development of the needy, deprived, poor, labourers, farmers and women and not on the relatives. Sarang was addressing a beneficiary meeting in the third phase of Nagar Uday Abhiyan at Narela Madhya and North Vidhan Sabha constituency.

Sarang said that now the topic of development in Madhya Pradesh is being discussed with everyone and anyone who is needy, the government is with them. He said that the Chief Minister is working dedicatedly and with resolve to bring all round prosperity. He said that after Gram Uday Abhiyan, the Nagar Uday Abhiyan is such a step that gives a new direction to development of the entire state. He said that today there is a fresh wave from the state to the entire country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are resolved to change the face and fate of the country and set up good governance. Sarang said that there is no work the state government is not doing be it is distribution of wheat at one rupee a kg, daughters marriage, reservation for women, farmers welfare, irrigation in fields or water in every house. He said that our motto is service to man is our faith, our religion and our humanity.

Sarang said that in the last ten years, a drinking water scheme worth 350 crores has been implemented with the support of the Chief Minister in Narela Vidhan Sabha. Today the Narmada water is being supplied in every house. Roads worth 250 crores have been constructed. Adequate arrangements of sewage have been ensured. Also several schemes for health, education and to put an end to unemployment have been initiated. Forty thousand youth will be provided with job opportunities through construction of a college, 100-bedded hospital and IT park in Karond. He said that 500 e-rickshaws will be started on 11 routes soon and these will be given to the poor people so that they can earn a living.

He said that 6-lane roads worth Rs 25 crores on Chetak Bridge besides flyovers worth Rs 35 crores in Subhash Nagar, Rs 65 crores in Chhola area and Rs 35 crores in Aishbagh Stadium are being constructed. He said that public should participate in development works with the government to ensure uniform development in the entire state.
