Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has inaugurated the website www.anandsansthanmp.in of the newly formed Anand Mantralaya here on Tuesday. Anand Utsav will be observed in the entire state from January 14 to 21. Happiness index of the state will be prepared till March 2017. Principal Chief Secretary Anand Mantralaya Iqbal Singh Bains gave presentation on the action plan and future activities of Anand Mantralaya in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. After dedicating the State Anand Institutes website, CM Chouhan made the ministers practiced the same. Activity to measure happiness developed by the famous Professor Ed Diener known around the world as Happiness was also carried out on the occasion. This activity contains five questions; anyone can find the level of satisfaction in his/her life after answering all these questions.
It may be mentioned that the Anand department was formed by the Chief Minister Chouhan on August 6, 2016. The Anand Utsav will be observed in the entire state from January 14, Makar Sankranti to 21, 2017 by the Anand Institute which functions under the Anand Mantralaya. Under the utsav, traditional games and cultural programmes will be organised for citizens of all ages at around 10 thousand places at Gram Panchayat Group level. Without competition, these programmes will be organized with the help of volunteers for fun.
Special programmes will be organised through Anand Sabha for students of middle, higher secondary schools beside colleges to teach them life skills and how to lead life happily. Special activities will be conducted under the Anandam for the officers-employees working in government, semi government and local bodies to work happily with positive approach.
Anand Research Center on Anand Ka Vigyan will be established with the Institute of Science and Education and Research Bhopal. This research center will work on scientific research being made at national and international level related to fun and pleasure. Active participation of citizens in the activities of Anand Department will be ensured in the form of Anand teams. The Anand teams will be constituted at district and block head quarters level. District Collectors and Sub Divisional Officers will coordinate in the activities of Anand Dal consisting of registered volunteers.
Selected volunteers to publicise and organize activities of the Anand department at village/Janpad/District/City Level will be called Anandak. They will participate actively in Anandam, Anand Utsav and Anand Sabha activities. These will be the voluntary activities and no remuneration will be paid for these activities. State Happiness Index will be fixed till March 2017 to measure the happiness level in the life of the people. Questionnaire will be prepared for this till February 2017.
