Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that conduct intensive campaign against habitual criminals, goons and mafia smugglers in the state. Make Madhya Pradesh a safest place for girls and women. Work hard with dedication towards services to the people and for the development of the state. Work to bring changes in the life of the people. Moreover, collectors and SPs should work with responsibility towards people and realize the good governance. Chouhan was addressing the joint conference of Collectors-SPs here on Wednesday.
Chouhan reviewed in detail about law and order situation in the conference. He said that keep strict vigil on unwanted activities. Do not let terrorists activities develop at any cost. Keep vigil on security of jails. Collectors and SPs must ensure no new construction of religious places without permission. Prevent activities and attitude to divide the society. Further, ensure benefits reaches people by implementing public welfare schemes in the naxalite affected areas.
Chouhan said that police force should adapt advance technology and to work in coordination with information and Technology department to counter cyber terrorism. Aware people about the cyber crimes. Maintain coordination with military organizations and make adequate arrangements for the security of runways. Review crisis management plan in the districts from time to time. Beside all these, ensure medical treatment and security arrangements with coordination at the time of natural calamities. Explosive licenses and storage should be checked regularly. Ensure that illegal explosives is not stored.
Before the arrival of important and very important guests, a formal rehearsal should be conducted and all the security standards should be adhered. Ensure security arrangement in participation of the society during festivals to boost trust in the hearts of the people that state government is beside them. Take right step firmly at the right time by bring all in confidence. Chouhan mentioned that all the districts have performed well with coordination during the festivals last time. He further mentioned that Minister in Charge of district should initiate to resolve disputes among the different communities. Also, take action on priority to clear the pending cases of land acquisitions.
The Chief Minister said that incidents of attack on government employees for preventing illegal mining and transportation should be considered seriously. Strict action should be taken against the culprits. Take serious note of road accidents and initiate action against the drunken drivers. Beside ensure strict compliance of road safety rules. Moreover, prepare rehabilitation and alternative employment scheme for people engaged in manufacturing of illegal fire arms. Take strict action to prevent wild life crimes. Conduct campaign in order to make people aware about the chit fund companies. Also take stringent action against fraud companies.
He said that effective implementation of externment from district and national security law should be followed strictly. Effective action should be taken in cases related to women. Make public places secure. Minister in Charge of districts should review law and order situations in their respective districts every three months. Chouhan further mentioned that Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign will be conducted in new form in the state. Process for speedy justice in heinous crimes should be continued.
