Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday deposited Bhavantar amount of Rs 35.22 crore with a click from his laptop in the bank accounts of 35,757 farmers of the district during a huge Kisan Sammelan and Bhavantar Bhugtan Samaroh organised at Dalouda Mandi premises in Mandsaur district. So far total Rs 39.65 crore Bhavantar amount has been paid to 42,695 farmers of Mandsaur district. The Chief Minister announced on the occasion that the Mukhya Mantri Jandhan Suraksha Yojana will be implemented in the state soon. Through this Yojana people will be inspired for secure investment. He said that searching of owners of chit fund companies and stern action will be taken against them.

Chouhan said that the government is trying to ensure that a foodpark comes in Dalouda for farmers. He said that the water of Chambal will be used for irrigation purpose in Mandsaur-Neemuch district.

Chouhan said that government will pay the interest of defaulter farmers and the principal amount will be repaid by the farmer himself in installments following which he will start getting loan again on zero percent interest. He said that the state government has launched the Yuva Krishak Udyami Yojana in which children of farmers will be given loans from Rs 10 lakh to Rs two crore for setting up agriculture based industries the guarantee of which will be provided by the government.

Chouhan said that purification work of Shivna river will be undertaken. Government Engineering College will be opened in Mandsaur, Dalouda will be made Nagar Panchayat and a Government College will be started in Dalouda. A 6.5 km long road will be constructed up to Marukhedi Mahadev Mandir. Fund will be sanctioned for construction of underbridge in Mandsaur. Colleges will be opened from this January in Jeeran. Road will be constructed from Kukdeshwar to Fofaliya. Chouhan called up small girl Zoya who recovered from illness after being provided financial assistance under Mukhya Mantri Bal Hriday Yojana, on stage and gifted her a doll.
