Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that there is wide scope of investment in Madhya Pradesh. There are more suitable investment opportunities for investment. He was addressing the investment seminar to explore possibilities of investment in state at Hyderabad today. Chouhan extended invitation to the industrialist, representatives of the companies to attend Global Investor Summit to be held at Indore on October 22-23. Chouhan further said that Madhya Pradesh is not a Bimarustate now and the state has become leading state in many sectors in the country.

Growth rate of the state is in double digit since last so many years and agriculture growth rate is above 20 per cent. A total of one lakh kilometer roads have been constructed in the state and irrigation command area has been increased. Moreover, Madhya Pradesh has become power surplus state. Madhya Pradesh has better infrastructure facilities and the law and order condition is under control. Chouhan said that skilled manpower is available in the state. Largest water body of the country Indira Sagar and many tourist places are situated in the state. There is wide scope of possibilities in tourism sector. He mentioned that Tourism cabinet has been formed for tapping tourism possibilities in the state.

Chouhan said that agriculture only cannot feed people. Hence, the state government is paying more attention towards industries to provide more employment to youths. For this all the necessary facilities are being provided by the state government to the youths. Also, policies have been changed to facilitate investors and single window system has been adopted. Lok Seva Guarantee law has been made, under which time period for different services has been determined and provision for punishment has been made for delay.

Chouhan urged the industrialist and representatives of the companies to invest and to establish industries in the state. He assured all possible help to the investors on the occasion. Further, Chouhan extended invitation to attend the Global Investors Summit to be held at Indore on October 22-23. Chouhan also deliberated one to one with the industrialists and representatives of the company.

Minister for Industries and Commerce Rajendra Shukla, Chief Secretary Antony DeSa, Principal Secretary Commerce and Industries Mohammad Suleman informed about industrial policy of the state and facilities being provided to the investors. Chairman CII also participated in the seminar.

Aero Space Head of Tata Advance System Masood Hussain has informed that his team will visit Madhya Pradesh soon. V Shrinivas Reddy of Megha Engineering discussed about manufacturing possibilities of water pipes and pumps in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan met Representatives of Pharmamassical Company and Managing Director PV Appaji, Ravi Raju of Navyug construction, President of Hospital division at Apollo Hospital Enterprises Dr K Hariprasad and Dr Haribabu Bodepudi of Maylan Laboratories Ltd.
