Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that children are our future. It is our topmost responsibility to ensure that every child goes to school. Every citizen of the state is needed to participate actively in the ‘School Chalein Hum’ campaign. The Chief Minister has appealed all the teachers of the state that they should make the education joyful, make environment in schools to develop children’s interest in studies and hones their skills.

This was said by Nath in his message to the people of the state on the eve of ‘School Chalein Hum’ Abhiyan being started from June 24. Nath stated that every child has talent and capacity to progress. They are invaluable assets to the state and country. Hence, we all will have to think about their better future. We must ensure enrolment of every child in school to ensure that they must be literate and become as good citizen.

The Chief Minister has told teachers to develop self-confidence in children. They should pay special attention that each child must come to school daily after the enrolment. In his message, Nath has said that special training is being imparted to teachers to provide quality education to the children. Necessary steps to give free uniform, cycle, books, scholarship have been taken to avoid obstacle in their studies. He further mentioned that sports, singing, painting and various other activities will be organized for one week in schools after beginning of the academic session to develop children’s interest in studies.

Besides, the Chief Minister in his message asserted that several innovations are also being done to make the children competent according to the need of the time. Career counseling arrangements have been made for the students of class 10 in the districts. Scholarship is also being given to ensure good education for children belonging to poor families of general category and other weaker sections of the society. Arrangement to give free admission and education in private schools has been made for children of 25 percent poor and weaker section.
