Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) VL Kantha Rao and Deputy Commissioner of Election Commission of India, Sudeep Jain reviewed the preparations for the third phase of elections in the state at Bhind and Morena district headquarters today under Lok Sabha Election-2019. Besides they also held discussions with political parties, candidates and observers appointed by the Commission.
Deputy Commissioner Jain told the officials engaged in election work to make every possible effort to conduct independent, fair and peaceful polling. He told them to provide information about all the facilities and security arrangements available at polling stations, to the voters so that more and more voters are motivated to exercise their franchise fearlessly.
Joint Chief Electoral Officer Abhijit Agrawal, Inspector General of Police, Yogesh Chaudhary and senior officers engaged in election work in both the districts were present on the occasion. Besides, the Chief Electoral officer informed that State SVEEP icon and well-known TV actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya will hold a live discussion with voters on Saturday, May 11 at 12 pm on Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube (@CEOMPElections). Tripathi will motivate voters to vote through a live message. Tripathi will also give information about the facilities being provided to the voters at polling centres by the Election Commission during her live programme.
