Jabalpur: Sportspersons of Bhopal region have won Overall Champion title second time displaying remarkably well in the InterRegional Games Competition. Also, best discipline trophy was awarded to Bhopal region for other skills, sportsmanship spirit and lodging arrangements beside games. Principal Secretary Water Resources Pankaj Agarwal, Director PICU Project P Nandkumaram and Engineer in Chief MJ Choubey congratulated the sportspersons of Bhopal region. The 27th Inter-Regional Games Competition of Water Resources was held at Jabalpur. Bhopal region has won winners title in cricket, badminton and carom competitions and became runner up in shooting ball, lawn tennis and table tennis competitions. In the cricket final, Bhopal defeated Indore and Ashok Marcos was declared Man of the Match. Similarly, Bhopal defeated Indore in badminton and defeated Hoshangabad in carom. Securing total nine points in the competitions, Bhopal won the overall Champion title.

Regional President of Sports Club Akhilesh Shrivastava, Santosh Joshi, State Coordinator Dinesh Shrivastava, Regional Secretary Moinuddin Qureshi, Regional Web Manager GK Agarwal, SK Namdev, Rajkumar Shrivastava, Pramod Chafekar, President Bhopal Region Manish Mandlik, Mohan Sharma, Anil Shirod and Manoj Mishra were present on the occasion.
