Bhopal: Minister for Public Works Department and Minister In-Charge of Khargone district Sajjan Singh Verma said that the Ayurvedic treatment method, which eradicates illnesses and diseases from its roots without causing side effects is blessing to the world by our country. The State Government is organising new programmes by taking this world famous treatment method into account, so that maximum number of people could derive benefit from it. Verma was addressing the Swasthya Mela of Ayush Department in Maheshwar on Sunday. He also inaugurated Ayush Gram Yojana in Badwel village.

Minister for Medical Education Vijayalaxmi Sadho stated that dispensaries of 5 villages of Maheshwar have been transformed into Health Wellness Centres. Proposals to construct auditorium costing Rs 15 crore and to establish Nimar Kala Kendra costing Rs 15 crore in Maheshwar has been sent to the state government. She further mentioned that a provision has been made in this year’s budget to set up global identity of Maheshwar saree. The programme was also addressed by the MLAs Ravi Joshi and Jhuma Solanki. A large number of patients were given medical treatment in the Ayush Swasthya Mela.

Minister Sajjan Singh Verma distributed cycles to the students of class 6 and 9 during a programme held in Badwah. Minister for Medical Education Vijayalaxmi sadho also addressed the programme. Verma also distributed cycles to the school students in Maheshwar. He said that a cricket academy will be opened in Maheshwar for children.
