Bhopal: Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Independent Charge) Sanjay-Satyendra Pathak mentioned that Narmada River is a life line of the state and Anushthan has been started to make it pollution free for the prosperity of the common man. He further mentioned that pure, fresh and incessant water of Narmada River will write the better future of the state. Pathak was addressing the huge gathering of yatris during the Namami Devi Narmade Seva Yatra at village Ghana near Jabalpur. He started the yatra from village Mangeli and welcomed the yatris at village Ghana in a traditional manner.

Pathak said that the pious Narmada River is the foundation of our prosperity. To fulfill the resolution of this public movement, everyone has to bring changes in their attitude and has to change the ways to express faith and beliefs towards Narmada River.

In the guidance of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri Maharaj, yatra began from Gurudwara of village Mageli for Ghana. After taking water from Namrada river, pledge for conservation of Narmada River was administered. Also 20 to 25 saplings of Aonla were planted at the ghat. Moreover pledge towards shramdaan, sanitation, de-addiction and subject related to environment protection was administered to the people at school building of the village. Deliberations on development and social issues were held with teachers, students and villagers.

MLA Pratibha Singh, President Jila Panchayat Manorama Patel, President Mandi Neeraj Singh, Sarpanch Mohan Yadav, Chairman Jabalpur Development Authority Dr Vinod Mishra were present on the occasion.

Yatra at village Ghana participated in Parthiv Shivling Nirman Maharudra Yagya being conducted by Sant Pandit Dev Prabhakar Shastri Daddaji. At least one crore 25 thousand Shivligs of soil will be made in this seven day programme. These Shivlings will be immersed in the kunds constructed at the bank of River Narmada after the poojan. Katha recital and Bhagwat Aarti was performed by Daddaji. Akhileshwaranand Ji, Mahant Ji of Kali Math, Sadhvi Yogmaya Teerth of Dewas and Film Actor Ashutosh Rana were present on the occasion.

Yatra begun from Ghana reached the final destination of the day village Ghunsour. Yatra was welcomed on the way with full devotion and faith from village Mangeli to Ghunsour. Keeping Mangal Kalash on their heads, women were singing welcome songs. Putting tilak and amid flowers showering, yatris were welcomed with warmth and affinity. Atmosphere was resonating with Jai Maa Narmade, Narmade Har and Namami Devi Narmade slogans called by yatra team and people standing on both the sides of the road. A huge public flow full of devotion, piety and faith was emerged on the way of yatra.
