Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that not a single village will remain without roads till 2018. Land for house and facility to construct house will be provided to the poor. In case of unavailability of government land, it will be purchased to provide land for house. Chouhan was speaking at the beneficiaries convention at Jaisingh Nagar of Shahdol district. Minister for Industry Rajendra Shukla, MP Riti Pathak, MLA Pramila Singh and Chairman of Nagar Parishad Sulochana Pandey were present on the occasion.

Chouhan said that development works in Shahdol division have been carried out more than any other area. Works related to establishment of Medical college, Engineering College and University have been carried out in Shahdol. He further mentioned that the rates of urea and DAP have been lowered down to make agriculture a profitable occupation. Irrigation resources have been increased. Under Ladli Laxmi Yojna, 23 lakh daughters have been included. A sum of Rs 7,900 crore has been deposited in the banks and the daughters will receive 27,600 crore rupees.

Chouhan laid foundation stone of development works worth Rs 25 crore for Jaisingh Nagar panchayat. Including 9.96 crore for Chief Minmister Urban potable water scheme and 12 crore rupees for house construction of 200 benificiaries under the Prime Minister Housing Scheme. Moreover, Chouhan announced commencement of PG classes in Jaisingh Nagar College from the next session, increase in beds from 30 to 100 in Community Health center, laying of cricket turf and construction of badminton hall at the colleges campus, expansion of bus stand, Rs 5 lakh for library for advocates association, establishment of ADJ Court after discussion with high court, upgradation of various schools, development of industrial area at Jaisingh nagar, increase in employment resources and increase in irrigation facility . Chouhan also gave assurance to other demands of the MLA Smt. Pramila Singh.
